Rocky Mountain Rural Health Staff

A full time professional staff of four individuals oversees the ongoing programs and services provided by Rocky Mountain Rural Health.  Operating expenses are paid through various fundraising sources available to the organization.


Barbie McBee — Program Director

Graduating Phi Theta Kappa with a Liberal Arts Associates degree, Barbie is a strong leader and communicator with the ability to provide superior customer service.

Barbie's previous experience includes working as a patient representative for South Park Medical Group and High Country Health Care.  She was also employed as a Purchasing Agent Telecommunications Coordinator in Park County.

In her role at RMRH, Barbie acts as a Patient Navigator for the Regional Care Collaborative, she is a Certified Health Coverage Guide for Connect for Health Colorado, Level III Patient Navigator, and a Certified Community Health Worker.

Anne Bresnahan — Administrative Assistant

Anne enjoys working in an environment that utilizes her organizational and analytical skills.

She has worked in the insurance industry at National Teachers Associate Life Insurance.  Anne also worked as an Assistant to Facilities Director at Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary and provided missionary assistance in Bulgaria and Ethiopia.

Anne provides ongoing assistance in planning and coordination of events such as mobile mammography services in addition to assisting with the daily operations of RMRH.

Julie Johnson — Program Assistant

Graduating with honors from Pima Medical Institute in 1996, Julie is caring and compassionate.  Her desire to help the community is evident in everything she does.

Julie's previous experience includes 18 years in the medical field.  Julie worked for South Park Medical Group as a Billing Specialist, and most recently as the Office Manager for Fairplay Family Practice.

In her role at RMRH Julie is a Client Navigator for the Regional Care Collaborative.  She is a Certified Health Coverage guide with Connect for Health Colorado, a Level I Patient Navigator, and a Certified Community Health Worker.

Jason Douglas

Jason is our newest Community Health Worker in training.  He brings a familiar face to our organization.  He has been a bartender, a bank teller, a newspaper correspondent and is an active musician in our community.  In these roles he has developed the interpersonal skills required of a Community Health Worker.
