There  are  many  organizations  dedicated  to  helping  Park  County  residents  with  health  and  related  concerns. A  brief  list  follows.   If  you  are  having  trouble  connecting  with  appropriate  resources,  call  Rocky  Mountain Rural  Health  and  we  will  do  our  best  to  assist  you.   719‐836‐2169 .      

AA is meeting Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 pm in the South Park Community Church Fellowship Hall (300 6th St, Fairplay). It is also important to note this is an "open AA” – people with other substance addictions can be part of these meetings.

 Provides  non-emergency  services  to  all  Park  County  residents  60  years  of  age  and  older.   Call  for  an  appointment.   Services  include  homemaking,  transportation,  information/referrals,  handy-man  services  and  meal  delivery.   Some  financial  assistance  available.   Emergency  phone  dialers  available.   Shopping,  medical  &  social  trips  weekly.

 WIC  is  a  nutrition  program  for  pregnant  women,  breastfeeding  women  (up  to  1  year  post‐partum),  non-breastfeeding  postpartum  women,  infants  &  children  up  to  the  age  of  5.   Income-qualified  families  receive  checks  for  healthy  food  items  and  help  connecting  with  needed  resources.
